Rating System

Although the same rating system is used for both print books and audio books, the content for which they are rated can vary.

Audio books have an additional inclusion factor for the narrator, sound interruption, pauses, character distinction, etc. For example, a book may actually be a good read; however, the narrator's monotone deliverance of each character may make the story less or totally uninteresting. On the other hand, a story that lacks a great plot, but has a great narrator in which each character is differentiated may be worth your wild.

My rating system for print is based on a 5 star system as follows:

Well planned plot and story/character development.
Detailed setting.
Word selection is understandable and fits the story.
Chapters are easy to maneuver and time is easily tracked.
Story beginning and ending - Does it initially grab me? or Does it become interesting as the story develops? or Is it not interesting at all?

5 STARS - The story is well put together and flows perfectly.
4 STARS - The story is well put together with 1 or 2 dislikes.
3 STARS - Maybe difficult to get through, has potential, may or may not be recommended.
2 STARS - The story lacks additional details that makes the book difficult to get through.
1 STARS - The book lacks detail that affects the integrity of the story.
